Dhira e.V advocates for gender justice – and stands for solidarity that doesn’t halt at national borders.
As weltwärts volunteers, we worked at Indian NGOs for several months and have witnessed women fighting for their rights. We want to continue to show solidarity with these women. Together, we fight for a world where everyone has equal rights and lives together in justice and equality – regardless of nationality and gender.
Dhira e.V supports a women’s shelter as well as a radio program for the empowerment of women in India. In Germany, we organize events and lectures about the work of our partner organization Prajna Counselling Centre, dedicate ourselves to feminist topics and critically examine developmental cooperation.
